How to obtain Vietnam visa:

1. Electronic visa: Passport holders from a number of countries can apply for an electronic visa using the web portal of Vietnam Immigration Department (https://www.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/). Please consult this website for more information on fees and procedures. Note that it may take up to 7 days for an application to be processed.

2. Application at the Vietnam Embassy/Consulate in your country. Please contact the Embassy/Consulate directly (by phone or website). An application normally requires a passport that is valid for at least six months from the intended arrival date, and must have at least one blank visa page; 2 passport sized photographs (4x6 cm); a completed visa application form and the application fee.

3. Visa issued upon arrival: for this method, it is advised that the visa applicant engages with travel agencies that can process all the paperwork needed to obtain a Visa Approval Letter from the Vietnam Immigration Department.
